STOLPERSTEINE 2022/23

During the creative process within the MMA Seminar on Media Practice: Format Development STOLPERSTEINE, four short films on the theme of "STOLPERSTEINE - Films Against Oblivion" were produced. The 2022/23 series of short films is part of the Master's program in Multimedia and Authorship at the Department of Media and Communication Studies at Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg. Inspired by the Stolperstein project by artist Gunther Demnig, students have been engaging with the people and stories behind the commemorative stones in documentary projects since 2007. Since 2022, Leef Hansen has been the artistic director of the STOLPERSTEINE film-project and co-curator of the film series.
